Ad Astra (from the Latin “to the stars”) is a company that began by sending 4 students to Nova Scotia, Canada in 2001. Ad Astra has since sent thousands of students to Canada averaging about 600 students each year.

About our Education Consultants

We are known as the “Agency of Mom’s” since 95% of our education consultants are mothers who in many cases joined the Ad Astra Family by sending their own kids to Canada to study in our programs and then promoting the programs we represent in their respective cities.

Education Consultant Profile

With over 60 consultants throughout Mexico and Central America, we have been able to identify some of the characteristics our consultants’ share that have been an integral part of our success. The majority of our consultants are moms, with a developed network of contacts in the community. They have excellent communication skills and in many instances have school aged children. Sales experience is definitely an asset and are fluent in the native language of the country and have some intermediate knowledge of English. Our Consultants are problem solvers and eager to learn and be a part of the Ad Astra family.

The Benefits of Joining our Team

Ad Astra pays competitive commission rates to consultants on a per student basis. There are also opportunities to participate as a chaperon for one of our groups to Canada or New Zealand. We reward our top sales people and sales teams and host an annual training session in Mexico where consultants are invited to learn about the different programs we represent as well as get to know the program directors. Opportunities to manage consultant teams and to become a free agent are also available based on total sales.

Training

Ad Astra provides extensive training to new joiners as well as refresher courses to some of our more seasoned veterans; mainly focusing on new programs or
changes to application processes. Training is provided via webinars and consultants are supported through the Ad Astra supervisor network.
